Galerie Delaive, expert in contemporary art

For over 30 years Nico Delaive has specialised in Modern and Contemporary Art. "My speciality is colourful paintings, such as Sam Francis, which I believe to have the largest collection in the World", says Nico Delaive.

The Gallery is located in 'Het Spiegelkwartier' an area in Amsterdam well known for its Art Galleries, nearby the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. Gallery Delaive is the exclusive representative of the Sam Francis Estate for Europe. "I can't stand conceptual contemporary art that needs to be associated with a book to help you understand what the artist wanted to say through his art. For art, rather you like it, or you don't like it. That's all. Books are here to explain you why you should like the art, even if you don't like the work of art! Time will make the selection", says the gallery manager.

Да, в следующий раз надо будет восполнить этот пробел :) А как цены узнать, только если с продавцом свяжусь? Сколько в Амстердам не ездила, эту галерею еще не видела...
